Okay here is my "redo" of my above layout. See description for changes I made. I think the "&" symbol is too dark still...let me know if you agree Otherwise, I like how this turned out. I don't know that it has real "gallery presense" but the exercise helped me a lot.

Okay I updated the "&" and lowered the opacity to 50%. Thanks for any feedback!

I'll bet you are all wondering where I've been with this?!! I haven't forgotten you! I'll be back this afternoon to comment on all of the layouts posted so far...but I also want to encourage everyone participating in this challenge to check out your fellow 'trainers' work, use the guidelines set out above and share your comments with each other.

This is my first Training towards challenge here is my attempt

I am not one to use negative space very often. I guess it is a left over from my paper scrapping days. When I could not afford to "waste" supplies on one photo.

I guess most would say the colors don't put forth a feeling of happiness. They do for me, I am a nature girl all the way and love nature colors. :0)

Here's my try. I think I must have changed this page 10 times! I still can't decide if it's all well balanced or what. cc's certainly welcome here.
